Great post! It is very sad how dreams often get pushed aside once you become “grown” especially when the person doing the pushing is the person who encouraged the dreams when we’re young. Keep dreaming, and keep blogging. 🙂

Yes. But, I don’t want to make my dad out to be the bad guy. He understands the reality of the world, I’m sure much better than I do. Of course, that doesn’t keep me from dreaming.

The one thing I didn’t mention in the post was that close to the end of our conversation, he told me I should do what I want to do, and he’ll support me. I didn’t mention that because I didn’t think it related to what sparked the idea of this post.

Awww, I didn’t think your dad was being the bad guy at all. He’s doing his job, trying to help prepare you for the real world. It’s just sad that we have to do that, after we spend so much time helping you dream big when you’re small. 🙂
