Manjax, thanks for stopping by. I have read Tuesdays with Morrie. I've even written a book review of it. I know what you mean about not being the same too. This book is a must-read. I think I finished it in about two hours. I've always wanted to read The Kite Runner too. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Hi, found this blog by chance. Have you read ‘Tuesdays with Morrie’? Maybe you should read that. And read ‘The kite runner’ if you haven’t already, never been the same since I read these books and I am not saying this in a bad way!

I think I might have that on one of my “to-read” lists somewhere. I remember reading the book description at Amazon. Thank you for reminding me. And, since you recommend it, I’ll definitely have to check it out now. I can’t just let it slide to the back of my list.

I am not sure if I would say this book is life-changing so much as it’s really the first book that made me think, “Wow, that was profound.” after I read it. It’s one of few books I’ve read more than once, and certainly one of few that made me respond so much so as to give it to valued friends as a gift. That book would be “Illusions” by Richard Bach. It’s a light read, and I recommend it to you too.
