Smart decision by WordPress… I started out with the e-book, but liked it so much I bought a hard-copy. I’m happy I own it every single time I open it up!
Awesome! Thanks for buying the book (two times).
This link will make the Book increase popularity.
Good Work!
That’s what we’re hoping. We think it’ll also be good for the community having it on the official WordPress site. We hope that more plugin developers will see it and learn from it.
This book is definitely on wish list – i haven’t found a bad review about it yet
Everyone seems to be finding it useful, so we’ve gotten some great reviews so far.
This is really tempting. I am a plugin addict, trying to quit. Chris Pearson keeps saying we don’t need plugins (his Thesis themes anyway) but just the W3 total cache plugin alone tells me otherwise; it covers so many security and caching issues.
I think I’m gonna have to get this book; thanks for the find.
I can assure you he is wrong if he said you don’t need plugins at all. He was probably referring to certain types of plugins where the theme already handles the functionality. A theme certainly can’t do everything. Nor should it.
