So that’s Elite?
What passes for elite in some circles.
If you can get away with selling something to a large number of suckers without revealing the truth to them, it makes you elite, in much the same way that one would be elite of they could pull off selling a single parcel of swamp land to 100,000 people, without any of them knowing they had been suckered.
Yes, they truly deserve to be bowed down to and worshiped, but only by those that wish to be elite in the same way, not by the suckers they fooled, and certainly not by those whose conscience forbids emulating that type of elitism.
I just wanted to make a quick comment – I’m also an ‘Elite’ author at ThemeForest as a disclaimer – please understand that this title isn’t given to an author because they are “Elite” in their technical abilities – this is awarded to those who sell the most.
It’s a title and badge given as a milestone based on sales figures only.
With that in mind, you can imagine that the largest selling items at ThemeForest are generally those packed with all the things we are currently attempting to stop authors doing (thanks to Justin and many others) and as such just because someone has “Elite” status, this in no way should be taken as a guarantee of sticking to standards and good clean code.
Keep up the great work Justin.
Somehow, I missed this one until now. I’d really appreciate it if you’d be able to send me the info on which theme this is so I can look into it further.
It’s already been sent to you via a fellow developer. He just sent it to me to double check the issues.
