It seems that my journey into learning to paint has rekindled my love of drawing once again. Throughout my childhood and teen years, I loved to doodle and draw. However, into adulthood, I allowed my skills to wane. Now, I am back at it.

The current plan is to learn to draw manga and anime, combining my love of the mediums with art. My focus in my formative years was on video game characters. I may venture into other types of drawings down the road. For now, I am enjoying the process.

My first day as a “manga artist” was just me working through a tutorial on drawing a female character. I am happy with how it turned out for my first session.
