October had some pretty sweet releases. With not much in the way of movies, I focused primarily on TV seasons that I wanted to catch up on. Here are the titles that I snagged this month:

• Top Gun: Maverick - BD UHD
• La Brea: Season 1 - BD HD
• The Flash: Season 8 - BD HD
• Star Trek: Picard: Season 2 - BD HD
• Walker: Season 2 - DVD SD

I’m not particularly happy that some shows still have DVD-only releases, such as Walker, but it is what it is. At least it’s not one of those crazy series that started out on Blu Ray and switched. The quality was decent for a DVD release though. It still sucks to be able to watch something in HD, at minimum, via an antenna and only have a home release in SD.

Overall, it was a solid month of stuff to watch. Top Gun: Maverick took the top spot. Technically, this was released in November, but my Best Buy pre-order arrived early. Now, I just need to find the original movie on 4K UHD to complete the set.
